A series of temporary visual art projects and public discussions for Harlow, featuring artists: Diann Bauer, Amanda Beech, Chris Evans, Alison Gill, Pil & Galia Kollectiv, Wayne Lloyd, Mike Ricketts, The Serendipity Group, Roman Vasseur.
Harlow was designed and built after the war, entirely master-planned by the late Sir Frederick Gibberd.
The town possesses the largest municipal collection of post war sculpture in Britain including works by Moore, Hepworth and Chadwick. It is an example of an urban design project as a living artwork driven by ideas of democracy and community, the result of a unique interpretation of 'The Modern'. These artworks will continue this tradition of art and the New Town project.
